¡Saludos! Gracias por visitar mi página. En abril pasado, saqué al mercado un sencillo del tema Guantanamera, favorito de miles en el mundo entero. Mi versión al estilo Folk estadounidense es muy distinta de las versiones que muchos de ustedes conocen por grandes artistas. Esto hizo posible que el tema se convirtiera en favorito de los amantes de música Folk en el mundo entero, y gracias a esto, se convirtió en el número #4 en la lista de Folk Alliance International, prestigiosa organización que monitorea la difusión de esta música. Me siento muy feliz y agradecida de la acogida.
La pandemia que vivimos ha demorado la salida de grabaciones adicionales, en inglés y en castellano. A pesar del encierro, durante el verano y ahora en el otoño, he tenido presentaciones al aire libre que me han llenado de satisfacciones. Les deseo mucha salud, y no queda más que echar parlante, siempre cuidándose mucho durante estos tiempos difíciles.
Hi everyone, and thanks for visiting. Last April, I released a single of the Cuban song Guantanamera, favorite of Folk Music fans. I was very fortunate that our version made it to #4 on the Folk Alliance International chart and continued to air for a few months after that. I am truly grateful to all of the Folk DJ’s that made this possible.
Guantanamera is a single that will be included in an upcoming bilingual album. The Spanish-language songs are completed, but COVID-19 delayed the completion of the English-language songs and the release of the entire project. In the meantime, the Summer and Fall have allowed me to perform outdoors, and it has been great. Please stay safe and healthy, and I hope to see everyone as soon as life returns to normalcy.
